Norman Beaumont – Technical Director
A mechanical engineer having 40 years’ experience in the cement industry working for equipment suppliers/contractors, international cement manufacturers and consultancies, Norman has an in-depth knowledge of the business with particular expertise in the fields of process design, plant specification, contract negotiation, project management, project engineering and commissioning of cement plants.
After working on many varied projects for Rugby Cement (now CEMEX) both in the UK and abroad he moved to Malaysia with WS Atkins Consulting Engineers. On his return he worked on several other consultancy projects then joined Castle Cement as project manager and senior engineer for a variety of CAPEX projects including the construction of an 820,000 t/y kiln line in North Wales.
He is a founder member of Cement Consultancy Associates Ltd, and has been heavily involved with projects for clients in the Yemen, Albania and the UK.
