Peter Weller – Managing Director
Peter has over 30 years experience in the cement industry, working for a major process supplier and both small and major cement manufacturers.
After university, where he gained degrees in electrical engineering and systems engineering, he undertook a formal training programme, and after three years professional practice joined the cement industry. During his career in the industry, he has travelled extensively and lived in Ireland, Denmark and Nigeria. He has participated in many international projects with roles ranging from designer through to project director. He set up a completely new independent cement company from greenfield site through to operation.
Before joining CCA, Peter was with a major UK cement company, initially responsible for technical matters, then works management to production director and finally managing director, with direct responsibility for all aspects of the business including a major strategic reorganisation.
