Salim Memon – Senior Consultant: Electrical Engineering
Salim has 25 years experience in the cement and power plant industries, with particular expertise in project management, execution and development, electricity planning, design engineering and business development. He has recently undertaken market studies for the implementation of waste heat recovery power generation equipment for cement plants where the exit gases of pre-heater and clinker cooler can be utilised to generate steam and eventually drive a steam turbine to produce electricity.
He has worked on many varied projects in Malaysia and India, and has been involved with reviewing engineering design in China.
